 FAQs

  • Great, all of our classes are suited to complete beginners.

Our Adult Beginner Jazz classes focus on breaking down all of the steps slowly - no dance experience required. All of the routines taught are also made for beginners, however, we will encourage you to challenge yourself occasionally - especially when we know you’re capable of it.

Our Zumba classes are more of a follow-along style, where your instructor will do all of the routines with you and cue the steps so you know where to go next.

  • That’s a great reason to join us! There’s nothing worse than forcing yourself to do workouts that you hate, not sticking with them, and feeling like you’ve failed because you fell off the bandwagon. Our classes are moderate intensity, however, you’re welcome work to an intensity level that is comfortable for you.

Important: If you have any health concerns, injuries, haven't exercised regularly, are pregnant, or have recently given birth, we request that you have clearance from your doctor before attending our classes. Our classes are moderate to high intensity. If you need lower-impact options, we recommend attending Zumba Gold classes, designed specifically for active older adults or those with mobility considerations.

  • Most people come solo initially - it's totally normal! We'll introduce you to other beginners in your first class, so you won’t feel alone once you’ve walked through the door. Our community is incredibly welcoming and supportive, so you’ll probably leave having made new friends.

  • We offer different styles of classes, so you can see what suits you. Most people are surprised by how much they love it and how quickly they see results and build confidence. If it’s not for you at least you tried something new and got a great workout!
